Book Review | One Beats The Bush by Riall Nolan - The First in the Max Donovan Adventure Series

One Beats The Bush is a well-paced action thriller that ticks multiple boxes; page-turning twists, fight scenes, a lot of crime and, more importantly, a main character you cannot help but love. Vietnam veteran Max Donovan is in Bangkok, and very hungover, when his friend “Fat” Freddie Fields is arrested in San Francisco for the murder of an Australian diplomat. He knows his old buddy would never hurt a fly, so he rushes back to the Bay Area to help. Book Review | Do No Harm by Jack Jordan - A Gripping, Unputdownable Thriller

I was so happy once Do No Harm was added to my tbr pile, I even pushed it to the top of my pile as I just could not wait to tear through it.

Annas son has been taken and she has been given a choice; kill the patient on her operating table or lose her son forever. Do No Harm follows Anna as she lives through every parents worst nightmare and makes the hardest choice of her life, but will it all work out in the end?

For anyone who follows Stu Cummins on Twitter or Insta will know just how much he rants and raves about Do No Harm, and I can now honestly say it is completely justifiable. From the second I picked up this book I could not put it down, a gripping masterpiece.

Do No Harm was my first Jack Jordans book and it will not be my last. I loved Jacks way of writing and telling a story, it kept me gripped from the very first page. This is the type of thriller that makes you question your own morals and really puts you in the ‘what would I do?’ seat, and Jacks manages to portray that perfectly. Can I also say my eyelashes hurt so badly whilst reading this book, if you know you know.

This book is not a big twist, didn’t see that coming thriller; it is an unputdownable, page-turner thriller that will keep you gripped until the very last page. I will be pushing this book into the hands of anyone that will listen!
