Book Review | One Beats The Bush by Riall Nolan - The First in the Max Donovan Adventure Series

One Beats The Bush is a well-paced action thriller that ticks multiple boxes; page-turning twists, fight scenes, a lot of crime and, more importantly, a main character you cannot help but love. Vietnam veteran Max Donovan is in Bangkok, and very hungover, when his friend “Fat” Freddie Fields is arrested in San Francisco for the murder of an Australian diplomat. He knows his old buddy would never hurt a fly, so he rushes back to the Bay Area to help. Suspecting Freddie is being framed, Donovan tries to rustle up some cash to bail him out, but only succeeds in getting into trouble with the local mob.  He’ll have to solve the case on his own. Book Review | The Logos Prophecy by Martin Treanor - A Book For People Who Love Conspiracy Theories

This blog post celebrates my stop on the Book Review Tour for The Logos Prophecy by Martin Treanor - a book that gives off major Dan Brown feels.

Ary Long is a conspiracy theorist, Jordan Burke is a science guy - and never the twain shall meet... until, through chance encounter and a bizarre symbol, their lives take an extraordinary turn.
Thrown together by a mysterious group and hunted by their bitter enemies, the unlikely pair scour the globe searching for the roots of the ancient symbol, uncovering the reality behind the existing world order and the arcane, metaphysical wisdom known as Logos.

I surprisingly enjoyed reading this book. Surprisingly because its not my normal go-to genre, but I loved living within the head of a conspiracy theorist. Although my brain is telling me everything in this book is so far fetched, a little part of me is convinced it could be partly true - within reason!!

The Logos Prophecy is Book One in the Fall of Ancients series, and I’m intrigued to see what Treanor does next. I loved getting to know Ary and Jordan throughout this book so I hope they appear in the following book, even if its just a small part.

Thank you again to Literally PR and Martin Treanor for welcoming me on this tour, always very appreciated.
